The Chupke Chupke family has already made a place in people’s hearts with their endless shenanigans and each passing episode keeps you anticipated for the upcoming ones.
Episode 8 ended with a cliffhanger where Faaz is shopping with his fiancée without having a single knowledge that his family is also present at the same place. Maskeen sees Faaz and Hania together and lets the rest of them as well. After seeing this, the one-minute-old twin sister’s anger reaches sky high and she confronts her brother about it after reaching home. Mishi jumps in and saves him for the sake of Hadi whose legs are on the stakes here due to Gul papa’s threats.
The fans are eager and can’t wait for Faaz and Meenu’s love story to begin but so far it seems there’s still a long way for that. On the other hand, Gul hears Hania’s views about her while she’s on a call with Faaz and starts plotting how to break things between both and Mishi has shown her full support for obvious reasons. It seems like she might succeed as she has started planting seeds.
Meenu’s life is also full of happenings, after she calls her fiancé to clarify that she is exactly the opposite of as he perceives her, she messes up things even more. To make up with him, she plans to meet him in his office but is caught by Faaz before she could even see him. As excepted Faaz disagrees with her ways and threatens to bail on her in front of her father – talk about double standards.
But Meenu’s luck is on her side, her mother-in-law asks to take her shopping. The ladies of the house aren’t in favor of the idea as it goes against their traditions but loses the battle when the stingy father agrees to save his money. The new character doesn’t seem very impressed with our heroine’s personality when he meets her. Let’s see how things unfold for this temporary couple.
Hadi and Mishi’s relationship blossom a little further as both of them are now more vocal than ever. Mishi has confessed her feelings not so directly and even though, Hadi isn’t in love with her, he still isn’t opposed to the idea. He is open to the idea of liking her other than her being his cousin but can’t reciprocate his feelings due to Faaz’s trust in him and Mishi being already engaged. The fans are loving all the little steps taken and the moments shared between both are a treat to watch.
However, the relationship still needs a push for both to be on the same page and who’s better to do that other than the youngest and the cutest character of the serial, Mirchi. Overhearing Mishi’s talk with her friend on a call where she confesses her love to Hadi, she’s adamant to let Hadi know about all this even after promising Mishi not to do so. Being known as the secret breaker in the family, she didn’t disappoint either and tells Meenu all about it. Now both of them are in action to kick start their beloved cousins’ romance.
As per the storyline, Faaz was to get married to Hania and her brother Asher was to marry Meenu but who knew what fate had to offer. Right before the Nikkah ceremony, Asher’s wife makes a grand entrance and confronts the shady guy for all his malpractices.
All hell broke loose after hearing this and the family is in uttershock. Here we all got to see Hadi’s protective big brother side as he stepped up for his cousin sister, making us swoon over him once again and wishing to have either a brother or a partner likehim.
Once this secret is unraveled, the reality of Faazi’s fiancée also sees the day and it’s revealed that her engagement has been broken twice and she’s mentally unfit as well. Faazi’s desperation to get married can be seen even after knowing the fraudulent nature of his supposed and now ex-in-laws when he still insists to go with the flow and marry Hania. As if he’s been lucky enough to be heard before and make a unanimous decision.
Once all the drama is done and the crooked in-laws ran away for their lives, the after-effects can be seen. The family is in tension as to what society will say and now who’ll marry their kids. The good thing amidst all was how a dysfunctional family became one at a time of misery to support each other, even the two grannies.
But having support doesn’t always mean making the best decisions. In the middle of all the distress, a suggestion is made to marry both, Faaz and Meenu to each other. In the heat of the moment, no one can see what a disaster it’ll be except for the two that are to sacrificed for the family honor. And guess what happens? Both enemies end up Nikkafied for real?
The next day in both households is an eye-opener as they realize what they’ve done and the newlyweds aren’t making it easy on anyone either. The toxic side of Faaz’s sisters can also be seen as they can’t see their brother give attention to anyone else but them. Seeing Faaz being a little lenient towards his new bride and to make peace with the situation, the twin sister once again starts plotting how to make everyone against each other. And break off the wedding.
Though we ship Feenu and Hashi wholeheartedly but the Faadibromance has a different fanbase. Despite being best friends and the only two sensible people in both families, still, Hadi isn’t afraid to call out Faaz for his sister’s life.
Some little romantic moments can be seen between Meenu and Faaz and we can tell that they’re off to a good start, but will their romance be that easy or is it the start of another war between two families?
