Chupke Chupke Pakistani Drama Episode 1 Review

The much-awaited Hum TV drama Chupke Chupke has finally made it to the TV screens. It was to go on air in Ramadan 2020 but had to be delayed because of pandemic restrictions.

As we all witnessed the fun-packed first episode, it will be right to say that it was worth the wait.

It’s a getaway for those viewers who need a break from intense, mainstream dramas that reflect the burdensome realities of our society.

It’s a story of two step-families who live together as neighbors, everyone gets along except for the two grandmothers for obvious reasons: i.e. being co-wives.

The head of the family, once upon a time, married two women, had two children from each wife. After his death, the co-wives’ rivalry continues, but their kids and rest of the family get along very well with each other.

Chupke Chupke should not just be watched for of its amazing storyline, but equally because of its spectacular star-cast.

Meenu (Ayeza Khan) and Faaz (Osman Khalid) the leading actors, are step-cousins and neighbors who are at each other’s wits because of their teacher-student relationship. It’ll be interesting to see how they end up together.

The rest of the supporting cast comprises Farhan Ali Agha, Meera Sethi, Ali Safina, Asma Abbas, Hira Soomro, and many more big names.

Despite having such big names, we majorly looked forward to debut by Comics & Comedy content creator, Arsalan Naseer of Comics By Arslan aka CBA. Arslan plays the character of Hadi. His natural performance has left us with no choice but to say… Bhaeee Waaah!!

Aymen Saleem, another gorgeous debutant actress, who plays the character of Mishi.

Every performance is entertaining. We can also see touches of Danish Nawaz’s direction clearly. The first episode has not disappointed at all, and has definitely left the viewers craving for more.

“I was anxiously waiting to see Arslan Naseer’s performance, which I truly loved. I was also pleasantly surprised at how Farhan Ali Agha and Ali Safina are playing characters different from the usual and both are doing an amazing job at comedy. Chupke Chupke is a 100% family drama full of dialogues that make you laugh. It will be a great show to watch during the whole of Ramadan and I’m looking forward to watch rest of it”

“Chupke Chupke is a fun, light-hearted entertainer and is exactly what’s needed at this time. The first episode takes off on a positive note. While the entire cast is impressive, it’s Arsalan Naseer’s debut that stands out the most as it does not feel like his first acting gig, he’s such a natural! Looking forward to seeing this story play out.”
