Ayesha Kundi Family, nostalgia, love, and life. These are four of the many topics that come up in Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore, which premieres on 8th April 2022! We sat down with the cast to hear about what went down during the new Fantastic Beasts film.
Firstly the young Dumbledore, played by Jude Law, said “the opportunity to fill in gaps and explore his character” made him accept the part. Clearly the world of Harry Potter means as much to the cast and crew even after all these years.”
Newcomer Mads Mikkelson who has replaced Johnny Depp as Grindelwald obviously had his reservations about stepping into the role. “You can only hope they will adopt you,” he says. Mikkelson even mentioned how welcoming everyone was when he started – a win-win for everyone.
Of course everyone’s favourite, Newt Scamander played by Eddie Redmayne, was asked about a fourth installment. He said that sometimes they may know bits and pieces, but mostly they just guess and hear rumours. He added he only knows about the current film’s status and does not know what the future holds.
Regardless, we hope to see more wizarding adventures in the future.
