The idea of the track was to be a fun upbeat song with a new twist on some familiar songs! I hope the fans who heard the track got this from it and also liked the bollywood infusion I created!
- What does music mean to you?
Music to me is my favourite form of expressing myself and gives me a way to connect with people no matter who or where they’re from. It’s hard to put into words what music means to me but I can definitely say I’m not sure what my life would be without it!
- What did you grow up listening to that influenced Desi Bop?
- Were there any challenges you faced whilst creating the single?
All processes come with challenges but I found making this track to be super fun! As this was my first release, there was a lot of new things to pick up but the amazing support system I had really made it much smoother for me! I’ve learnt so much – especially from the logistical sides of it. This will help me massively moving forward into the track I do!
- Who was one artist that was always on your playlist?
I have too many favourites but I don’t think there’s been a time where at least one Kanye west track was on my playlist!
