2.     Tell us more about who you are and why you chose acting as a career?

Ans: It’s a story of most actresses, I too always wanted to be on the big screen, Bollywood was the ultimate for me, it’s an art form that is not confined to a canvas it allows you to create a living character, and a new one every time.

3.     What are some of your wishes when it comes to films. Which industry do you want to work in?

Ans: I am very rooted to our culture although never lived in the subcontinent but love the kind of movies we have from Bollywood. I am excited that in Dubai now we have production houses that are looking to do more movies catering to the sub continent.

4.     What made you pick Yaara Vey as the film for you to do?

Ans: Primarily the fact that it’s from Dubai, it brought a lot of comfort, then the writer and director were also based in Dubai, we could sit for hours talking, brainstorming and just enjoying every bit of creating the entire world of yaara vey. Also the credibility of the entire crew working on it was up there, with the experience that they brought to the table. Finally the songs just sealed it for me which obviously came much later though.

5.     What were some of the challenges you faced shooting for this film?

Ans: Oh the weather in Tbilisi Georgia to             begin with was super harsh running in            minus degrees, it got to me at one            point and we had to stop the shoot for            a few hours and they bundled me with            heaters all around in a tent as 95% of            the movie is shot outdoors.

6.     What are your plans for 2023. What are some of the things you have planned for it.

And: As of now there are two projects I am             looking into..one is a serious subject            based on some true incidents and             they other again is a light drama/             romance of our times.

7.     When was the last time you were in London? What are the things you love and hate about London?            Ans: Have always loved London, it’s             so different from the rest of Europe             It makes you feel at home. I was in uk            two months back for a show and had             a great time . Love everything about             London except when it gets too             gloomy.
